Terms of Use & Service Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Welxis Connect. By accessing our website, registering for the World Education Conclave & Expo 2026 (WEC), purchasing a sponsorship, or entering the event venue (BIEC), you ("The User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, as well as our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue use of our services and refrain from attending the event.

2. Digital Services & Account Security

A. Access License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Welxis Connect digital platforms solely for the purpose of event registration, networking, and information gathering.

B. User Accounts

To access specific features (e.g., B2B Matchmaking, Exhibitor Portals), you may be required to create an account.

• Responsibility: You are fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Liability: You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. Welxis Connect is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your password.

C. Prohibited Digital Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use any "bot," "scraper," or automated device to extract data (e.g., exhibitor lists) from our website.
• Attempt to bypass security measures or gain unauthorized access to the backend systems.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

A. Our Content

All content provided by Welxis Connect (including the WEC logo, text, graphics, floor plans, and software code) is the exclusive property of Welxis Connect and our partners (Trinayahealthcare & Tokaischool Education) and is protected by Indian and International copyright laws.

B. Your Content

By uploading materials (logos, brochures, headshots) to our exhibitor/speaker portals, you grant Welxis Connect a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce this content for the purpose of promoting your participation in the event.

4. Event Participation & Conduct

These terms apply specifically to your presence at the BIEC, Bengaluru, from May 22–24, 2026.

A. Admission

Admission is reserved for trade professionals, educators, and registered delegates. Welxis Connect reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed disorderly, disruptive, or inappropriate, without refund.

B. "Suitcasing" & "Outboarding" Policy

• Suitcasing: Attendees who are not registered exhibitors are strictly prohibited from soliciting business, distributing flyers, or promoting their services in the aisles or public areas.
• Enforcement: Violators will be stripped of their badges and escorted off the premises immediately.

C. Badge Security

Badges must be worn at all times. They are non-transferable. Sharing or swapping badges with unregistered individuals is strictly prohibited and will result in the confiscation of the badge.

5. Media, Photography & Recording

A. By the Organizer

By attending WEC 2026, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by Welxis Connect staff or media partners. You grant us the right to use these images/recordings for marketing, social media, and post-event reports in perpetuity, without compensation.

B. By the Attendee

• Photography of the general expo hall is permitted for personal use.
• Restriction: You may strictly not photograph or video record specific exhibitor booths, products, or presentation slides without the explicit permission of that exhibitor/speaker. This protects intellectual property and trade secrets.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

A. "As Is" Basis

The event and website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Welxis Connect makes no warranties regarding the specific commercial results, leads, or partnerships you may generate by attending.

B. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Welxis Connect shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of profits, data, or business opportunities).
• Personal injury or property damage sustained by you at the venue (unless caused by the gross negligence of the Organizer).
• Theft or loss of personal items or booth materials.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Welxis Connect, its officers, partners, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your misuse of the digital platform.
• Damage caused by you or your staff to the venue (BIEC) or third-party property during the event.

8. Third-Party Links & Exhibitors

Our website and event floor contain links to and booths of third parties. Welxis Connect is not responsible for the content, products, or services offered by these third parties. Any transaction between you and an exhibitor is solely between you and them.

9. Modifications to Terms

Welxis Connect reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

• Jurisdiction: Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
